Vintage Orrlaskan blanket, featuring redish, orangish, blue stripe on ends. Measures 72 x 80 with the original sewn tag. The term "Orrlaskan" refers to wool blankets made by Orr Felt Company, a company with a history rooted in the production of woolen fabrics and blankets. Orr Felt Co. was reorganized from Young and Yeager Textiles, one of the first textile companies in the Midwest, which began producing woolen materials in 1848.
